After muchos giggage in Liverpool over the last year I’ve not really devoted much time to head out of this Scouse City and soak up any Southern culture… this be changing as I spread my musical wares to the London. I be playing a gig with Rudi Douglas and Owen Duff at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern on Thurs 22nd September as part of the night SONG.
The last month has been great in terms of gigs playing at: Above the Beaten Track festival, Mathew st festival, Grateful Freds and support to Daniel Martin Moore in the Scandinavian Church…to name a few..awesome
Last week also saw the launch of Soundworx Media in Liverpool. Two good friends of mine who also made the video to my song WAVE
See ya in the London!

If you want a really nice liitle venue outside London, but still sort of southish, come check out The Stables in Milton Keynes. Small intimate venue, really good crowds, lots of good names both established and up and coming. http://www.stables.org – I have nowt to do with it, just in case you were wondering, but I’ve seen lots of people there, the last of which was Howard Jones ( remember him ?? ) – he did a set with his piano and a guitarist. Was really really good. Anyway, love your stuff, I have you on my favourites now. Just in the process of going into the studio myself, which I’ve never done before, never found anyone to help with my “bits” of tune before. Got a great bloke helping to turn my rough stones into gems ( hopefully ).
Hey., cheers for the message., I’ve not played in Milton Keynes yet but will most def check this place out. I remember Howard Jones well indeed. Never seen him live though! 🙂 Good luck with your studio ‘mining’ project! recording is great fun. Do you have any stuff online?
I don’t have a lot of ( read as ANY ) completed stuff, which is why I wanted to go into the Studio, to try and work with people to help me finish stuff ( I’m great at starting new ideas, not so great at finishing them – I get stuck easily ). My main site which is still under construction, and has been for a couple of years, as I obviously haven’t really had much to put on there is http://www.mark-pacey.co.uk and it does have my most finished piece “Going Home” but it still needs lyrics, and there’s a cover of my best friends track “I Don’t Believe”. Also, if you follow my Maxxy link above, there’s a musical sketch book on my blog with most of my current ideas on……
